Has anyone else been less then impressed with this kickstarter?

This one seems to lack much of the meat and potatoes. Most of the recent big miniatures KS have come to the table with at least completed concept art for the base game. This one seems to have mostly stuff guys on the project have done that they might use for this game.

Without any completed models yet and the rules still in dev, I don’t see how they are going to make their Dec 2013 commitment. Look at all the other projects that have been farther along, much less ambitions, and have still had numerous delays.

What is not impressing you about it?

I actually quite like a lot of the background they’ve posted on their webpage. Game mechanics so far look quite interesting – very nice to have another game that isn’t IGYG. Tempted to jump in to support them via buying the PDF rules – can’t say I’m interested in picking up any minis as there hasn’t been much in the way of mini previews compared to other recent Kickstarters.

I really want to back this but am holding of for two reasons.

    1) would like to see more minis or concepts so I can visually understand what the races look like.

    2) I’m starting to get confused about what’s going on, I go on the forum and there are just too many cooks. This game from what I can understand looks great but the thing that’s keeping my interest alive at the mo is the Hansa mini, he is just awesome!
