Aurora had a successful Kickstarter campaign and two rounds of releases that all sold out. But apparently a funny thing happened on the way to the third printing and they’re looking for your help.

From the release:

Alien Frontiers: Aurora, the international edition of Alien Frontiers,
is now live on Ulule.com.

The Alien Frontiers board game by Clever Mojo Games was one of the
first successfully funded board games on Kickstarter.

The first printing of 1000 copies sold out in mere weeks after release
in October 2010. The second printing of 3000 copies sold out nearly as
soon as it was released in April 2011.

The game created by Tory Niemann and illustrated by Mark Maxwell was
very well received by board game players and reviewers around the
world and is currently ranked in the TOP 100 of the world’s best
boardgames on the BoardGameGeek.com website.

The game was scheduled to be released in Western Europe by a well-know
European publisher. This did not happen.

Now LocWorks, a small game publisher based in Poland, is calling out
to board game fans around the world and asking for help with the
funding of Alien Frontiers: Aurora, an international version of Tory
Niemann’s excellent board game.

If successfully funded, the game will be fully localized into Czech,
Dutch, French, German, Italian, Polish, Portuguese and Spanish and
released in November 2012,

The platform chosen for the crowdfunding initiative is Ulule.com. With
861 projects already funded by users from 103 countries, Ulule.com is
an excellent venue for multilingual projects, also because the
platform is available in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish and
Portuguese.
