Darkson Designs have posted photos of a work-in-progress version of the green for one of their AE-WWII German Volkstrum figures.

From their website:

The Volkstrum were part conscripted into the German army in 1944 and was formed by men who were between the ages of 16 and 60 if they weren’t currently a part of the German army.  The Volkstrum received at best, minimal training before entering the war as well as being supplied with whatever weapons and equipment were on hand.

The new Volkstrum will be released later this year and is one of three single part sculpts.

Gew 43, full infantry kit and uniform? That’s a pretty well armed and equipped Volksturm soldat. Might want to rethink that one and just make it basic German infantry.

  • Thanks for the comment Brian. In 46 he is under equipped to deal with the Weird happening in the war.

  • KampfgruppeCottrell

Ah, gotcha. Them Weird War battlefields can be pretty harry.

Hopefully there will be a mix of weapons too, rather than just one

Shouldn’t it be called “volkssturm” ?

In German it is. I think that one of the accepted English spellings is Volkstrum
