We’re a bit over a week into July. Hopefully the second half of your year is going off without too much of a hitch. Things seem to be going well for AEG. They’ve posted up their releases for this month. They include a horrifying new version of Love Letter, an advanced version of Guild Hall, and an event kit for the hit game Smash Up.

From the announcements:

A mind-shattering journey into the world of HP Lovecraft and the Cthulhu Mythos warped into the shape of a Love Letter experience.

You’re not trying to gain affection from the Princess. You are trying to eliminate your rivals for power as you seek to understand the cosmic horror that lurks just beyond what we foolishly call “reality”.

In each round only one player will prevail. Use deduction and luck to eliminate other players or watch as their own madness consumes them.

Will you accept madness as the price that must be paid for Knowledge Man Was Not Meant to Know? Or will you attempt to hold the shreds of your sanity together in the face of eldritch nightmares attempting to enter and destroy our world?

Now Announcing Advanced Guildhall: The Gathering!

This new set of Guildhall contains an all new stand-alone set for Guildhall, featuring six never before seen professions. Additionally, this set contains two mini expansions: “The Chapter Masters” and “The Master Houses.” All this content can be used as a stand-alone game, or mixed & matched with any of the content from the original Guildhall Fantasy games!

Play in a Smash Up event at your local game store!

This event will give you the chance to get the new “All-Stars” faction and cool Smash Up accessories. The All-Stars faction is a specifically chosen mix of existing Smash Up minions and actions that have formed an all-star team. To play basketball… in Space! Because that’s their Jam.

Includes a new faction, the All-Stars, for your Smash Up game!
Introduces the first ever table-sized playmat for Smash Up, featuring spots for bases and power trackers.
Supports up to 8 players.
