Gang Up gives us a look at the design process and some game play footage for their game. There’s still a little over 2 weeks to get in on the action.

Gang Up rough sketches

From the campaign:

The card design is very important for the gameplay, but at the same time it’s just a background for the story we want to tell with the illustrations. So after formulating a general plan on the card design, I started with a first prototype illustration, in this case a character; Kingpin Jim.

Best of luck, but when the shipping alone costs nearly as much as the whole game in some comparable Kickstarters, you might have a hard time getting backers.

Hardly his fault. This is what international backers experience every time that they pledge a U.S. kickstarter (plus VAT). Overseas postal prices are prohibitively expensive these days.

I don’t think many people will be willing to pay up because “it’s not his fault”. Money is money. You have to be really, really enthusiastic about something to pledge 18+12 euro for it when it will probably cost 20 euro at retail and 16 from discounters.

I agree with you. I was just pointing out that this one is really no different from other KS projects in terms of shipping, save that it is not U.S. customers receiving the domestic shipping rate.
