Bolt Action Marder III Ausf. M tank destroyer released by Warlord Games

Warlord Games heard, dog, that you liked destroying tanks. So here’s a new Tank Destroyer they’ve added to their webshop.

From the release:

One of the most widely used German tank destroyers is now available – the Marder III Ausf. M.

The Marder III was a series of German tank destroyers built on the chassis of the Czech designed Panzer 38(t). Produced from 1942 to 1944, they served on all fronts until the end of the war.
Even in the early stages of Operation Barbarossa, the Wehrmacht was aware of the need to field a more mobile and more potent anti-tank weapon. This need was further highlighted when, in June 1941, Geran anti-tank shells failed to penetrate the armour of new Soviet tanks such as the T-34 and KV-1.

Forge of Honor passes funding goal as well

Forge of Honor continues our “made their funding goal” hour here on TGN. They’ve made it past their funding goal with still 5 days to go. So hopefully a couple stretch goals are still possible for them as well.

From the campaign:

As supporters who were closely watching our funding goal — we hit it, then fell back down, and then back up this morning. We have met our $18,000 goal! But we realize that Kickstarter is not a sure thing because people can cancel or reduce their pledge before our campaign is over next Monday at midnight. Hopefully, we have offered enough incentives and high-quality toys to persuade current backers to stick with us through the very end. We need you to keep sharing to bring in new backers!

Tercio Creativo launches Dies Irae Indiegogo campaign

Tercio Creativo has launched their next Indiegogo campaign. This one is to fund their new book, Dies Irae.

From the campaign:

Once more, you could become a patron of one the four main factions and hire a band of duelists (represented by our 35mm miniatures) for doing some… “work” for you and your faction in order to accumulate enough power to choose the new king of Iberia and start the defense of El Purgatorio or the conquest of the north against the Gauls.

Having printed the rulebook of 1650, A Capa y Espada with your help (thanks ;]), we want this game to become a whole new universe of adventures and very detailed conflicts, spanning the most essential aspects of guerrilla warfare of 1650, A Capa y Espada with more bands and detailed information about conflict zones with their sociopolitical and military situation…All these things will increase your gaming experience. For this, we want to print the first expansion books of 1650: Dies Irae. Also, we want to start releasing the new Gaul Vanguard of the Usurper faction, and the new material presented in those expansion books.

Audatia, the medieval swordfighting card game, up on Indiegogo

Audatia is a card game up on Indiegogo that also helps you learn actual sword fighting techniques as you play.

From the campaign:

Swords are Cool

And knowing how they work is even cooler.

This game idea was born when Rami and Guy were discussing how hard it is for students to learn swordsmanship terminology and theory. So we thought about flash cards, and suddenly it came to us- a card game that is fun to play, and at the same time imparts real knowledge of our martial heritage.

So we talked to some game designers, raised some funds, and hired Games and Tales in Oulu, Finland, to come up with a prototype. The game is done, playable, ready.

Now we need funds to complete the artwork and print up the first run of cards. That’s where you come in!
