28mm painted American Civil War figures
Reinforcements by Post will soon be offering painted American Civil War figures for sale.
From their announcement:
Reinforcements by Post will shortly be offering 28mm Ready Painted American Civil War figures (ACW). These figures are hand painted to the highest standard. Confederate figures are painted in a wide variety of clothing and equipment colours.
Figures come in packs of 4 for regular infantry. Union command packs comprise one officer, one drummer, one sergeant and two standard bearers. Confederate command packs come with one officer, one drummer, one sergeant and one standard bearer.
Special studio direct prices for these figures are $4 per figure for Union and $4.50 for Confederate. We will be offering a couple of units as raffle prizes at Fall in, so you will have a chance to see them there if you are attending the show.
At the moment we are building up a stock of painted figures. We will be selling figures from 1st August. Now you can retire your unpainted, and unassembled, plastic to your attic along side your unpainted lead mountain. Buy your forces ready for action.
One big advantage of ready painted figures is that you don’t have to buy castings, post them to the painting service, and then wait for them to be painted. I once waited more than a year for someone to fail some figures for me in the UK. When the figures are ready you also know what you are going to get.
