Privateer Press have released the Extreme Juggernaut miniature.

    Extreme Juggernaut

    Extreme Juggernaut

    From their announcement:

Crush the enemies of the Motherland with the awesome Extreme Juggernaut available exclusively from Privateer Press. This massive metal model towers over the standard Juggernaut and makes even the mighty Behemoth question its name. With over 29 individual parts, the Extreme Juggernaut is a hobbyist’s dream, able to be positioned in nearly any pose imaginable. The third in our series of Extreme sculpts—and the first for WARMACHINE—this masterpiece of Motherland engineering will be available only while demand lasts.

Photos of the parts and a 360 degree panorama can be found on the Privateer Press website.

I can understand the extreme models for Hordes, after all there is some size variation in all species of animal. But a juggernaut is a juggernaut — making one that rivals in size the largest warjack in the Khadoran arsenal seems a bit odd. Might be a nice model for the shelf, but it would look out of place standing next to my other ‘jacks on the table.

Unless you replace ALL your Jack Chassis with this guy? ;)

Finally another extreme model… I wish they could release several at the same time, instead of once a year at most.

I like the model, it is cleaner than the now very old juggernaut, but I’m not nearly as impressed as with the previous two extremes. Mostly because it is very much the same model as the original, only bigger. I guess it makes sense to have less variability in an engineered warjack than in a living warbeast. I also guess I’d be more likely to turn a blind eye to this lack of difference if it were a Cryx jack ;)

I’m not a Khador player, but that is wicked sweet. Maybe it can be corrupted by the Dragonfather.

This really would’ve been better in plastic.

I like this one more than the hordes ones. I’d love to see an extreme crusader for PoM to make up for the duck like sculpt the first time around!

Does it really need a 360 view? Can’t a Khador player already take his regular Juggernaut and just spin it around on the table? :)

Looks ok, it’s a big Juggernaut that needs an even bigger base (PP, take into consideration starting to make a 65mm base for your really big models)

      Meh.
I like the dire troll extreme but this one and the wolf both have something off and visually unpleasing about the proportions
      (esp the doggy’s long torso)

I reckon I’ll get one just to trick-out my as yet unassembled Behemoth (the legs) and Karchev (the rest).

If the overseas postage wasn’t such a killer I’d very much consider this along with say 2 Destroyer cannons mounted up top as the perfect Behemoth. Especially easy since the axe is separate.

I think an appropriate nickname for this beast is the juggermoth…
