Lord Crowley 01.jpgSmart Max have added three new 1:35 scale Pulp miniatures to their Smog range.

    From their announcement:
Smart Max is releasing three new Characters for Smog, their 1/35 Victorian Fantasy range :

    Mr Ambassador Nail
Their extraterrestrial nature has made Mister Nail’s kind the discovery of the century, even of the millennium. Doctor Watson has equiped him with mechanical prosthesis that allow him to bear eartly gravity. The scientist may control from a distance Mister Nail’s movements. Impassive as ever, the latter is rumoured to have started moving autonomously. He has been very officially created First Ambassador by Lord X, causing not the slightest reaction with the very visitor from outer space.

    Lord Crowley
Persecuted by the Inquisition until the England denied catholicism, the Crowleys are fierce and cruel, expanding their power through terror. Worthy descendant of a cursed lineage, the present Lord is a man of his time : he has sworn allegiance to the Dark Pharaoh pretending this was a Ministry. Thanks to this legal stratagem, Lord Crowley has been able to mislead an unknown numbers of nobleborn, extending the influence and power of the Cult.

    The Canopic Beast
Hidden within the depths of the ancient pyramids are mysteries that would better not be unveiled. The Canopic Beasts are among those. Their receptacles, once meant to preserve the defuncts’ organs, are made of an unknown material that naturally restrains Ether. Within the jar, a Beast’s essence awaits the time of its release. The one who will break the canopy reciting impious verses, banned as early as in the Pharaoh’s time, will be able to control the Beast and make it commit the worst.

Great scott! The Canopic Beast is a real… well, beast. The other two are also great, though Mister Nail is a little on the odd side (his description makes it sound like the suit is a little more all-encompassing).
