Man, I don’t care what faction that guy and his bear are for, I’m getting them.

I’m getting one for my Weird WWII gaming :-)

    evernevermore (John) says:

Oh no - I see visions of Soviet bear units attacking germans now :P

    a_thousand_hats says:

That bear mini is very cool indeed , rarrrrr! - I’m not much for the orboros druid but the gun mage looks good.

    maroonldr says:

WOW! I need to start looking at the Warmachine minis more often. I don’t know what I could use the bear and handler for but I want them! And the gun mage would fit in well with my planned Warhammer Imperial Navy army.

    LarkinVain (Joel) says:

Brun Cragback & Lug Character Heavy Warbeast look very cool indeed. I wonder what faction they work for. I wonder if they are a mercenary/minion. Looks like they would work for Khador as well.

    They are a Minion Warlock/Warbeast

    Trolland says:

I imagine they’re a lesser warlock/warbeast combo, like tatzlewurm lady and that farrow fellow. They haven’t yet said how lesser warlocks are going to work, have they?

Also, just ’cause you look Kossite doesn’t mean you like the gov’ment. Aren’t Kossites considered highly…unreliable…by the folks in charge? Also, prone to banditry and whatnot?

    oldsalt says:

I must be the only person that thinks the bears anatomy is waaay wrong:
Weird short neck; human shoulders, dwarf hips, tiny back legs, and weird flat claws.
looks like a teddy bear not a polar bear.
Sadly I think a lot of the new Hordes figs (excluding the cyclops shaman) have been subpar.

    Darkson says:

Put an Iron Cross on his chest plate camo up the cloth behind the armor and shazam German attack bear. Much better looking bear than most out right now.

I was thinking Russian as a counter to the Stormape. :-)

I was told at GenCon that they work sort of like Journeyman Warcasters except they can only force/leech/etc. their own personal warbeast.

    P-ko says:

Oldsalt-i was wondering too. doesn’t really look like those bears i’v seen at zoo when i was little:D mage and druid are typical ok stuff though:)

    noysh says:

Nice! That armored bear is right out of the Golden Compass. Does this mean they’ll be starting a General Oblation Board faction for Hordes? :D

    Chad says:

For those wondering, Brun and Lug work for Trollbloods, Circle and Searforge Commission. And yes he is a dwarf.

    tuco says:

Well, I for one refuse to play with anyone who won’t let me stick him in with my Khador. It’s quite obvious to me that someone didn’t read a memo and accidentally mixed up the giant armored polar bear for Khador with the pet dog that was undoubtedly planned for this dwarf. Too bad they didn’t catch the mistake in time to put a Khador sticker page in Legends.

    mozart says:

It appears that my Cygnar have just taken a back seat to Searforge. Alas.

    Muteki (Gareth) says:

Awww. Was hoping for the Bastions in Jan! :D

    Nice bear ^_^

    Keirof says:

I don’t know…the design and sculpting of the lower parts and the armour of Lug is a bit soft. I don’t think it matters that it doesn’t look like a bear…that’s kind of like criticizing PP for the fact a Skorne Titan doesn’t look like an elephant…but it shouldn’t look like a teddy bear.

    Just MHO.

    Trent McCaffrey says:

I would play a Cygnar army if they could play fast like Circle. I’ve always liked the Cygnar models better and that Gun Mage smokes the Druid. Does the Druid have ANTLERS? Geez, why don’t they just give him fangs and hooves too.

And why does that bear have a gunt?

Privateer, pleeeease make some “elegant” models!! You don’t need to go 100% Rackham, but stretch your boundaries a little bit!

    Cenobyte says:

Sadly their elegant models fail - see Anastasia di Bray.
