New Infinity previews
The Infinity forums has a post with preview photos of a work-in-progress version of the Preta model and the PanOceanic Palbots. No idea on a release date for them as my French isn’t that good :-)

Well, the sensemorale here is that if frenchspeakers learned english, more ppl would be able to get the message. That can’t be a bad thing in marketing. |

First of all: I’m wondering why you put a link to the french forum if the same news have been showing in the english forum for now half a week. These news were shown first in the spanish forum and fastly spread to the english forum. Anyway, you shouldn’t bother looking for the release date because it is unknown. Link to the thread in the english forum: http://www.nomadarachne.com/infinity_ENG/index.php?option=com_fireboard&Itemid=164&func=view&id=4208&catid=5&limit=12&limitstart=156 Second: Tomas, I’m sure many (in fact, lots of) frenchspeakers have learnt and know english but also they are in their right to have dedicated forums in their languages; the same happens with millions of non native english speakers around the world. In fact the Infinity official place gives you acces to official versions and forums in spanish, english, french and polish. Same thing can’t be said about other bigger companies which are not used to do the same. The “sensemorale” here is: Learning languages is good and opens oneself’s mentality. |

It wasn’t submitted to me and I don’t read the Infinity forums in any language. I can’t post something if I am not aware of it. Someone who reads the French forum sent it in. Maybe if the English readers sent it in when they saw it we could have all seen these a week ago :-) |

The news fastly spread everywhere, it’s just easier to tumble over it in the two (now three) pages of a French forum rather than in the 18 of the English one ;) |

Thanks for putting this up. I have avoided the new infinity foums so this is the first I have seen these. |

Is a “language war” about to erupt on TGN? There’s (at least) two way to stop this : - English readers : be the first to submit news from your favorites sources - Accept that, for a (very) few games, french sources can sometimes get the news first (and be even more happy whenether it’s a preview picture - or when the submiter gives a quick translation as I usually do) ;o) |

Seeing that actually most of what is moving the mini world (in terms of innovation and quality) nowadays does not come from english-speaking countries, i.e. mainly France and Spain, I have no problem with links to non-english sites. Especially when it is just to show 2 semi-boring pics of upcoming minis. ;-) And for important text news we always have our friendly little helpers here (thanks for that, Mathieu, btw) |

The whole conversation reminds me I really should remember there is a submit button, that is there to be used. |
