  • The swag pile grows higher

Nate from Wyrd Miniatures emailed me to offer a Malifaux warband for each of the GenCon 2008 swag giveaway winners. This giveaway is starting to be larger than the haul I got at GenCon :-)

Well it just goes to show that there are a lot of generous people in the industry

I think it might also have something to do with your reporting Zac

    Cool….

Glad that I signed up for this contest ….. . did not get to go but I really love the look og their universe and enjoyed the coverage that you gave to the company…..not if only Darkson Designs and Pulp City might chip in…..

Its far safer to think of the generosity of others than to dwell too much on your own merits. Leads to a swelled head the other way :-)

    Talarius says:

Wow, quite the haul. Got my fingers crossed… It’s Qantas, right? ;-)

Now this would be something I’d love to enter. :)

I’ve always liked Wyrd’s minis, even before the game hype started.

Less your own merits and more the idea your doing something right (or it might just be how Im viewing stuff after a long streak of mistakes at work)

I agree. A welcome reminder these times ;o)

If it wasn’t for the swag contest we would be running a Pulp City giveaway at the moment :-)

Wow more great stuff! Good luck to those who entered.

    Insane.

    In a good way.

I think the industry dudes have got together and decided they want to see how many headlines with the word ’swag’ in them that Zac can put together in any given week.

    :-D

Kudos to all those who have been so generous - and Zac for sharing the wealth.

You may be immune to Jedi Mind tricks Zac but I feel a disturbance in the force that points to the winners needing to help out on the postage costs because the stash looks to be getting seriously heavy.

I don’t know about anyone else but I’d be happy to pay for the postage if I won - some seriously big hauls developing.

I was wondering about Canada Post giveway offer but they’re unlikely to offer the postage :o)))

    I would pay too ;o)

    Zac says:

Most of the heavy stuff is coming direct from the manufacturers. GF9, Kraken and Wyrd will be shipping on their own. What I have here isn’t that bad

You know Zac, the longer you put drawing the names off the greater the pile of swag!!
