  • New Hordes previews

Privateer Press has posted two new previews of upcoming miniatures for Hordes.

    Tharn Ravager White Mane
Those few beast lords who have survived dozens of hunts and surpassed the odds by outliving their peers become White Manes. These seasoned killers are heroes among their savage tribes. Seeing a White Mane charge into battle inspires Ravagers to a frenzied state as they rush to follow his example. His scarred mien and grisly tokens are reminders of countless kills and many years of hard fighting.

The Tharn Ravager White Mane comes in a blister. A player may field two Tharn Ravager White Manes for each warlocks in his Circle Orboros horde.

    Warmonger War Chief
While all warmongers can goad themselves into a killing frenzy, some few are strong and willful enough to become war chiefs, rising by strength to lead the converted tribes. Blight transforms each of these horrors into a murderous fiend overcome by hunger. The very scent of blood lends the War Chief strength and he will sometimes pause amid his bloodletting to gorge on fresh kills.

Warmonger War Chief comes in a blister (PIP 73038). A player may field up to two War Chiefs in his Legion of Everblight horde.

There are actually lots of upcoming releases now posted in the appropriate places in the Hordes or Warmachine gallery sections at the Privateer Press website. These include some of the character ‘jacks and the minion lesser warlocks/beasts. The only one that I think we didn’t get a picture of here from gencon that you can see in the warmachine gallery is the Nightmare.

If I ever need a mini to play air guitar, the Warmonger War Chief will be it. Look at that left hand, he’s rockin’ out!

tuco: Have you seen the Winter Troll? He’s totally rockin’ his guitar! :-)

These look pretty cool. If you search the PP forums, they also have spoilers for the stats of at least the Warmonger (allegedly) here:

I’ve not yet surfed to the circle forums to see if the other fellow is spoiled.

    4. If the warmonger is rockin’ then the ravager is ‘Teeing up ‘ for a big swing at the 18th.

Reposition his head slightly to be looking over his left shoulder and add an enemy head of your choice just in front of his axe and you’re looking at Tharn Woods, going for his latest victory in the Open.

      :-D
