I too have had some poor experiences with the current group. The owner seems nice enough, but I keep getting charged for 100% of the merchandise and then find about 20% of the order is backordered and doesn't arrive for 6-10 weeks. I find that really off putting to be charged for the whole lot. I've contacted the owner twice but have had no luck asking why is this being done.

At this point, I'm just ordering from Baccus directly even though the shipping charges are tough with the poor US dollar. However, I fear that his current distriubutor here in the States is having some type of problem and also doesn't seem to go to the East Coast conventions where it would be great to see the product up close and personal before buying.

Sorry to complain.

Erik: I loved when they had the Canadian guy as well, being up here in Canada. :-)

But yes, I'd love a second US distributor, as I didn't have a good experience the one time I ordered from the current one.

I love their products, but have to concur that the Camels head is too short and the legs seem to thick for camels.

Wonder what changes there are, if any, in the 2nd edition Polemos Napoleonics?

ALso, I think it is a great idea to be able to buy the artillery separate for different periods and allies. Good stuff.

Baccus is a great outfit. Wish they would consider having more than one US distributor.
