Preview of the first Okko expansion
Asmodee have posted details, in French, of the first expansion for the Okko board game. The expansion focuses on the Yakuza.

Same scuplt has the prepainted shown here : http://www.hazgaard.com/pages/apokkopag.html Asmodee is the distributor but Hazgaard is actually the producer. Not the same team as Croc’s and Geoff’s guys from Hell Dorado. Okko’s mini are nice but not the same “standard” as Hell Dorado. The pre-painted minis were very limited series and they’ve not been exported I think so I could not grab some. I’ve just asked them if they will be single or multiparts ;o) |

More : They’ll try to limit the number of parts as much as possible. Example the Geisha will be single part but the big Oni Warau will be a 7 part model. They will be sold as single blisters. Retail price should be (estimated) 6 to 10 euros each There should be a first wave of ten minis then smaller monthly releases |

There will be 9 characters ; 7 with a mercenary (neutral) status and 2 civilians (like in the starter box they grant bonuses to factions or have particular support habilities). The ogre is a Chained Ogre not a “Mage” There will be a Yakuza henchman and an Ashigaru. |

The expansion was translated a couple of months ago - I actually had the translated files with me at the White Castle meetup at Gencon. If anyone wants more details on what any character or item does, I’d be more than happy to answer. |

I asked Asmodee “when will the prepainted minis for Okko be out?” The reply was end of october/early november |
