    Corvus Belli have announced the following new Infinity releases for August 2008.

    From their announcement:

    Meteor Zond (Remote)
    Death from the clouds. The Meteor is a flying remote bot who can be deployed behind enemy lines choosing targets for your guided missiles. The Nomads advanced technology is personified with this areodynamic remote. The Meteor Zond is the first Infinity remote released in blister, and comes with a flying transparent base to simulate the flying effect.

    S.A.S. (Boarding Shotgun)
    Who dares wins. This miniature recreates the S.A.S. motto, advancing in silence with the pistol and the knife in his hands, ready for close combat. A single male figure blister to perform commando operations.

    Domaru Butai (Chain Rifle)
    Hi-tec samurai. Kenjutsu masters in heavy powered armour, the Domaru is an specialist in Close Quarters Combat, he can sweep the battle zone with his Chain Rifle, eliminate any technified foe with the E/M grenades or engage in a bladed combat with his katana and wakizashi. Follow the path of the futuristic samurai with this single male figure blister.

    Rasyat (Combi Rifle)
    Diplomacy in high caliber bursts. The Rasyat are the diplomacy ambassadors of the Morat Supremacy, highly skilled veteran troops who know that the biggest weapon is always the winner in any negotiation. This dynamic Airborne shock trooper comes in a single figure blister to feel the whole power of the alien wrath.

    They are great stuff.

    I like the remote, I can think of a few uses outside of infinity for that one.

    It’s a great range the infinity line - lots of individual, characterful models amongst the forces, they’re just a little too tall and thin compared to the rest of my collection for me to jump in wholeheartly. Although I think I’ll eventually be picking up a few choice minis - because I like them so much.

    I like them, better than the last batch. The SAS is neat, but where’s the boarding shotgun?

    a_thousand_hats, they’re not as far off as you think. Check ‘em out in person sometime. They’re expensive, but nice alts.
