		<description>Light colors are popular historically cause they represented undyed fabric - which was cheaper and more accessible then dyed fabrics. That said romans where notorious for the showiness of some of thier actions so any color other then purple or fluorescents (sp?) is at least BS'able as being used</description>

Some of that may be due to my lack of historical knowledge too, was the light coloured clothing typical for auxiliaries or was it worn by legionaries too? Hmm, I think I need an Osprey...</description>
