    Malazan says:

I like Hsien and the Nisse (clean, smooth lines, good movement). The Halqa are alright but don’t speak to me. Not a fan of the clockmaker but maybe it’s the paintjob. Billy Idol doesn’t do it for me.

    redstripe (Nick) says:

I’m not a fan of the clockmaker, either, though its a mini I’ve been waiting for. I think a good headswap on him will do the job quite nicely.

He needs dreads or a mohawk, I think.

The Halqa are very nice, I think.

    Gitteau says:

The coats on the Hsien Warrior and Nisse are very nice.

    KillMeForPrizes says:

More fantastic looking models that I will buy then completely trash because my painting skills are tripe =(

    Psychotic Storm says:

All look great, Hsien is a massive step upward from the previous design, but I am even more impressed by the Halqa.

    well worth the wait.

    Jeffhiatt says:

I am looking forward to getting some of those Halqa.

    Xenon_Wulf says:

Am I the only one to think that the clockmaker reminds me of Duke Nukem?

    nanite (Seth) says:

Stop it with the HMGs, please! I lurv the Halqa, but the rest leave me cold. Especially the crumpin’ clockmaker.

    briguy says:

Xenon_Wulf: I was thinking more like Kriss Kross. I find those pants so ridiculous, I can’t focus on any other part of the model. :-(

    steeldragon says:

I love the Halqas… ¿anyone knows if there are any Locust images? I would love to scratchbuilt or see one of those in the future…

there’s one luzige shown in a comic strip inside the rulebook. take a generic wheeled IFV like Pirahna or Patria AMV, add huge sf-style wheels, fighter-plane like cocpkit(all smooth and aerodynamic)and a futuristc gun turret ,and you’r done.basically any IFV model kit will do to be honest.

anyway, i do like the Halqa models, very nice shooting poses rather than usual acrobatic ones. new Hsien is an improvement over the old design for sure too. clockmaster is..not bad,but not my cup of tea,and nisse is just an alter-weapon sculpt, nothing to write about.
all in all, nice set of “overdue” models with nothing from the upcoming book this time.

    nanite (Seth) says:

    @steeldragon

There’s a picture in the rulebook. Six wheel APC with small gun on top, hatch in back. Like a more angular version of this CAV model:

The Halqas don’t look the same as they did in the picture though, so I think it’s open to interpretation.

    steeldragon says:

    thank you very much guys!!!

    I now have some ideas…
