  • Pulp City/AE-WWII GenCon Events

Pulp Monsters has announced that it will be running some cross-over games of Pulp City and AE-WWII at GenCon Indy in collaboration with Darkson Designs.

    From their announcement:

As some of you might know, in a good comic book/pulp fashion, the Darkson Designs team and Pulp Monsters decided to have two cross-over games of AE-WWII and Pulp City at this year’s GenCon.

To celebrate this event (and hopefully more to come), Pulp Monsters will release a very special Supreme miniature.

First in the line of Pulp City Golden Age, super heroes and villains inspired by the Golden Age of Comics era, these miniatures are meant to be played in story driven games, but if your opponent agrees, there is no reason not to use them in a regular Pulp City encounter.

The games take place on Sunday:

11 AM the AE-WWII rules event
3 PM the Pulp City rules event

I can hardly wait for this event. I signed up for the Pulp City rules at 3 pm. It’s really cool seeing two different companies collaborate on something like this for the fans.

We are really excited about it too. Me and Matt from Darkson’s are finishing some nice scenarios for both games and I can tell you: it’s going to be very pulpy.
The new Golden Age Villain is very occult so it goes great with what Darksons are working on currently.

I’m going to be soooooo broke when I leave GenCon :-)

My wishlist is already at US$905 for stuff to buy at GenCOn and I haven’t considered AE-WWII and Pulp City… and I already signed for demos and stuff on both of them…

I tink this year the Darkson team is going to have a blast hanging out with the Pulp City crew. I know we are huge fans of Pulp City and look forward to getting some games in with them. I just hope that Morf leaves the Sniper Bazooka at home this time. ;)

    Alpharius says:

I’m really upset that I won’t be able to go…

    Someone take really good pictures!

(And hopefully the limited edition miniatures will make it on to each company’s respective online store!)

    Morf says:

The Golden Age will be a regular release. I don’t like Limited Editions. The only limited availability we are planning at this moment, is a miniature for our Heralds that will be “purchased” with demo games they do around the world. Oops, did I just give out something?

Rob, I’ve been training my bazooka airborne for the entire year. Bring on those abominations!
