Empress posted Zulu photos
Empress Miniatures have updated their Workbench page with photos of the greens for several of their 28mm Zulu figures.
From their website:
As part of our brief to produce historic figures, our first release of Zulu’s may cause surprise to many. They are not covered in regimental or tribal distinctions nor weighed down by ceremonial regalia. Based on recent research we show here the Zulu warrior as he appeared in battle. Stripped of virtually everything and ready for action.
The first packs will be 8 married and 8 unmarried warriors. The majority are open handed so that they can carry various weapons and separate weapons and shields will be included in every pack. Shields used were of both the older large size as well as the more modern fighting shields. Firearms were very common due to a pre war policy of trading for muskets.
