Hi
The mechanics are quite different from ATZ, NUTS, 5150 etc - there is opposed REP rolling to determine combat for instance where each opponent uses their rep plus additions as the number of dice they roll, 1-3 are passes and then you compare the number of passes to determine outcome. If one player forces the other back the one pushed back loses dice but the combat continues etc (simplified explanation) - we have played a lot of 'same side' dungeon crawls with the dungeon generator mechanics and even they are good fun !

I purchased this last night, and after a quick run-through, I am very impressed. It has rules for skirmish, dungeon crawls and mass battles all in the same book. In addition, it has a campaign system and rules for magic.

I plan to do a solo game tonight to see how it plays.

I've played several of their systems (ATZ, FNG and Chain Reaction come to mind) and find them a wee bit samish.

I would be very interested to hear wether this is a new game or the standard THW approach?

Wow... as an art guy I've never found many of Two Hour Wargames' books to be very attractive, cover-wise. They frequently have nice cover art, but the rest of the cover's design, like the layout, typography, color, etc. usually left a lot to be desired. However, this cover is excellent looking, very nicely done. I'm very curious about this game, and not just because of the cover, but it certainly does help.
