Privateer Press post Summer Rampage details
Privateer Press have posted details of their Summer Rampage 2008 gaming league.

Once again, western Immoren shakes beneath the might of rampaging armies as the war-torn kingdoms of Warmachine clash with the savage threat of the wild Hordes. Fire up your warjacks and rile your warbeasts to prepare for the next round of Summer Rampage!
This year’s Summer Rampage takes the form of a unique map campaign. See No Quarter #18 (May) for what’s in store for this year’s biggest Summer event! No Quarter #19 (July) will provide material support for players of Summer Rampage, including a map of western Immoren, pre-order your issue at your local game store today.
They also sent along details of a new organized play website that the league will use.

Summer Rampage Participants will be the first to utilize a new organized play site. Although the site is designed/intended for all retailers it is being launched in support of summer rampage. You might of read in the above paragraph some of the highlights of the new site. It will not only be a place for players to find your store, but whats in your store and what events you may be supporting. Summer Rampage will not only give your players a fantastic 3 weeks of supportive play, but bring increased awareness to your store.
During Summer Rampage, players can win virtual awards for achieving in-game goals (such as winning 5 games for example). These virtual awards are displayed on their profile on the Summer Rampage site, our forums, and social networks like MySpace. They can show the world they participated in Summer Rampage! The Summer Rampage prize kit has great physical prizes as well, but our virtual prizes are a way for every player to get some glory!
These virtual awards are awarded during the event. This drives game play has other players join in to win their own awards before time is up!
