Can we tone the hyperbole down a bit please.

As I mentioned previously, this isn't an open invitation to generally slam GW. So lets not do that any further please.

Yeah ofcourse quality companies making starter sets makes perfect sense, GW doing hardware imho simply sucks due to the insane lack of quality.
We test their stuff before selling it in a proffesional modelling store, having experience in the field made me convinced because of the lack of quality of GW products.
It makes no sense claiming to be a quality company when releasing rubbish Hardware imho.

Um Netherghoul - they are doing exactly the same thing Testors did a few years ago, and now Aztek airbrushes are respected in modelling.

you can't expect GW to release a proper airbrush.
Everyone with airbrushing experience can see that GW's Airbrushgun is an utter failure.
You can get get way much better starter sets from reknown experienced airbrushcompanies nowadays.

GW had better stick with their miniatures and leave the fields of excellent tools and the like alone.

The defect is in the cap that attaches to the propellant. The threads that attach the hose to the cap are plastic and can strip when reused overtime. The hose then will not sit properly and the propellant leaks. The cap was supposed to be metal, but the final shipped product had a plastic cap.

This is not meant to be a "real" airbrush. Its an entry level, basecoat system and is not meant to do detail work. For little Johnny or most people who dislike painitng miniatures, this is a pretty good product for them. Its actually less expensive than the entry level one that Bagder and others do. And to boot, the propellant they are selling is $8.00, $2.00 cheaper than other brands!

lol - I knew someone would say that.

I'm only interested in something for quick undercoating/toning on terrain and tanks so a 'proper' airbrush would be a bit over the top (and take up too much space).

The defect is in the tubes that feed the paint. Apperently one can break in a way that could hurt someone - so they need to replace some tubes and send them back out.

we have just discovered a quality defect in the spray guns.

That suggests the defect is in the guns, not the customers. I bet it is a clogging or some other issue. Good airbrushes have some delicate parts that can be prone to jamming.

I’m guessing somebody figured out they could put gasoline in the paint cup.

When I find it on Youtube I'll be sure to post it.
