    From their announcement:

    Ariadna Starter Pack

The Ariadna Starter Pack is one of our oldest products, and it worth a review.
-The three new Line Kazaks have the high sculpting quality we demand now, and will form the core of any Ariadnian army.
-The 4th Chasseurs is a Merovingian regiment operating under Special Operations Command. Its role is to undertake missions of reconnaissance and special actions - Renseignement et Actions Spéciales- in which, in total silence, they penetrate to the very heart of enemy positions.
The Chasseur is a new Merovingian skirmisher with really interesting weapon options as the Adhesive launcher or Light Flamethrower, that linked to Infiltration and Camouflage special skills, give a new tactical aproach for the Ariadnians.

-The 3rd Highlanders Grey Rifles is a Scottish Regiment of riflemen that can trace its history back as far as Waterloo. Many say that it’s members have changed little since those days…
The 3rd Highlander Grey Rifles is a Caledonian heavy infantry with smoke grenades, guys that can run for close combat, but also with interesting long range weapons. The option of twin Light Shotguns is deadly in close quarters, but the new T2 ammunition of their rifle will be the nightmare of any trooper that try to stop them.

-The Veteran Kazak is not just a new version of the old one: the rule “Veteran” is improved make them thoughter, as they can take more than one wound, and it is reflected in the new design, with a more tech look in the protections. Now the Veteran Kazaks will take the place they should have had from the beginning.

Knights of Santiago (Spitfire, AP CCW)

The trading routes taken by the Circulars are also used by many Panoceanian citizens on their pilgrimages to the sacred places of the Earth and Neoterra. The Order of Santiago, with the blessing of PanOceania and O-12, has taken on the task of providing and coordinating assistance and protection to these pilgrims and to the Circulars that use these routes.

This brand new troop for PanOceania rocks. It is impossible to take him by surprise thanks to the 360º Visor, and the new Spitfire gives you the chance to field a cheaper HMG.

Hassassin Lasiq (Rifle + Light Shotgun)

The Lasiqs are specialists in death at extremely long distances, they are the long, assassination arm of the Hassassin sect. Patience, acute eyesight, a firm pulse and an unbreakable faith in the objectives of the organization, are the qualities required to become a Lasiq.
Lasiqs are the definitive long range shooters for Haqqislam. The X-Visor allow them to be away from other shooters, and Mimetism keep them protected. But their most important value is the new Viral ammunition, the best against armoured targets.

Domaru Butai (Boarding Shotgun, AP CCW)

Domaru Butai were presented with the new Yu Jing Starter Pack, and now we offer the same miniature from the Starter available in blister.

    P-ko says:

all the models are really spectacular, the Knight really is great..but the back-shots leave no doubt…all the kazaks have knees way too low on the model><

    Crazy Fen says:

I admit the kneepads on the Kazaks looked a little strange to me as well… However, once I saw this image, things made a little more sense… It looks like tactical kneepads are worn lower than sports kneepads.

    P-ko says:

possibly, but Kazak 2 model still looks like it’s bending it’s leg at far too low place, pads or no pads.
but then, i play Panoceania, and the Knight is so great i may let this inconsistency in another army slide this time:D(or it’s one of those times when you need to see the models first-hand)

    nanite (Seth) says:

I don’t see the new Vetran or the Highlander?

I’m going to have to eat my words too, the Kazaks look good, aside from the clothes on the girl.

I love that Hassasin. Definite buy, when I finally clear my Infinity backlog, that is.

    steeldragon says:

Amazing minis… since I play Ariadna and Haqqislam I’m delighted with this new releases…

    redstripe (Nick) says:

As an adjective, what does Merovingian mean? Does that imply they are french (building on the multicultural aspect of Adriana? Would a Merovingian identify with a particular part of France?) Does it mean that they indulge in ceaseless infighting? Are they ordained warriors of God?

    P-ko says:

according to the background, the people that colonized ariadna were from USA, Russia, France and Scotland. so after the arrival and being cut off, they established USAriadna, Matr(or Matyr), Merovingia and Caledonia states, later merged into single federation of a sort. so yes, merovingians are french descendants. the orginal book has some more merov. troops if you’r intrested;)

    redstripe (Nick) says:

It didn’t even occur to me to consult the rulebook, for some reason. I hadn’t read the Ariadna portion yet. I’ll make sure to do that! Thanks!

    Gregory Zuniga says:

I don’t even play infinty and I am already bugeting away some money for the knights of Santiago. The pose and the form of it looks great. Love the way they blend the sci fi with the knight feel at the same time.

    Psychotic Storm says:

Quite impressed great quality as usual.

    carson says:

    Fantastic minis.

    antenociti says:

you do wear kneepads lower than the knee and it does look odd in real life.

the “problem” though is perception: the customer sees them as looking too far down the leg and it makes them perceive that the knees are therefore also too low down.

having got used to that i really dont see as having an issue at all - i also suspect that the sculptor took a lot of RL references so they are deliberately placed as they are; rather than it being a case of dubious body measurements.

So, nice figures as almost always ;-)

    evernevermore (John) says:

Nice sculpts - if I had the extra money for a new game the Ardiana would probably drag me in

Luckily 40k and 4e D&D have sucked up what little money I have already :P

    Psychotic Storm says:

Actually I do wear knee pads that low, they don’t “drop down” that easily from that position and provide better protection when you kneel.

    Netherghoul says:

WoW, this really caught my attention.
great looking models & dito sculpt!
