I guess it depends on whether you prefer miniature dinosaurs or overgrown lizards. I'll take the former, myself.

Assuming GW doesn't raise the price, their plastic cold one riders will be $12 each, as compared to $18 for the much larger metal predator knights from Gamezone. I'd pay $60 (assuming maximum unit sizes don't change) extra for my army's centerpiece unit, and use discount models for my rank and file if money was tight.

Well so much for Gamezone's cold one models...those new GW cold ones are just as good and probably a heck of a lot cheaper!

I like that they are pushing the nautical influence of the Black Ark troops. Adds a bit of a distinct visual element to them to help them differentiate from High elves even more

The dreadlord and Lokhir models are cool. Glad to see the latter is wearing a mask and doesn't have an actual squidface.

The sorceress' face spoils the whole model for me. The corsairs and cold one knights are pretty average and look very plastic in these close-up photos.

Man, the painting on these is fantastic. It makes me think of the old 'Eavy Metal days. I think the studio guys might be using this army as a way to relax and practice their skills after having to crank out millions of 40K models for Apocalypse.

Either that or it's like one dude's resume to show off that he can actually paint. Hoping to score a job at a studio that won't make him paint like he's working in a sweat shop.

Sorceress has a nice stripper pole look, otherwise the other stuff looks really good. New cold ones look really nice. Hydra's better than the old one, but thats not saying a lot, I still think it could be better.

Very yummy.

Looking to start a WHFB army. It's a tough decision, especially with these very nice models.
