<description>Off topic: I confess that I have liked many of Foundry's ranges, from their SYW Russians (outstanding) to Vikings and Napoleonic Austrians.

Over the last year, I've found many of the army or unit deals to be questionable on value and composition (unless using a 1:20 basing system, it just doesn't work). I know the managers claim that they are minis for the collector, but a signficant portion of sales I would think goes to gamers.

In that light, I wonder what happens to a company like Foundry if these plastic 28mms really take off. Do they change also or is there enough gamers who would want metal only?

The Hittites look darn nice, but I'm going down in scale (excepting the plastics for WAB).
