    1. Doc says:

      well there goes £126.00…
The collectors sets look rather nice, the “marker light” should be useful.
Not sure about the counters though. The GF9 one are superior in my mind.

    2. Jonathan says:

Nice to see them pushing the Macragge expansion on the same page as 5th ed. ;)

    3. evernevermore (John) says:

Im still poor enough that it will only be the core rulebook for me, and a use for the Radioshack laser module I had sitting around - maybe model it into an exitus rifle from the Assassins

    4. Zac says:

The counters do indeed look really poor. The art seems rather pedestrian as well.

    5. Ken says:

I just want to know if that ammo crate will fit in my Apocalypse backpack.

    6. atom says:

Want a cheap laser pointer? Look at gas stations and pet stores. I got two last time I was at Petco, one for the cats and one for my minis.

    7. Ken says:

      one for the cats
Your cats must be much better with Powerpoint than most.

    8. 433 says:

The laser pointer is actually pretty cool, it makes a neat crosshair thing. For $10, I’ll certainly get one of those.

    9. Trent McCaffrey says:

I bought a tape measure / laser measurement combo tool. The laser isn’t a point, rather it draws two perpendicular lines. It’s perfect for determining LOS as long as you’re not trying to determine LOS based on height (which is actually a silly gaming mechanic). You can easily see if the line drawn on the table passes through terrain or another miniature. It’s also useful for determining 90 degree LOS.

I got mine for $13 at Walmart. Unfortunately, it’s not shaped like a Tau Markerlight. :)

    10. Doc says:

Of course I’m a bit worried about the Gamers Set “Hazard. Danger of Pre-Detonation if Used UnBlessed”. Will that clear customs?!

It’s perfect for determining LOS as long as you’re not trying to determine LOS based on height (which is actually a silly gaming mechanic).
sadly that silly mechanic has made it into 5th ed…

The pre-order page is up on the US site, too, but the prices are wrong. Dave Taylor said give them a chance to fix that and we Yanks can pre-order away.
