Got a White Dwarf the other day to check this list out. It's more or less what a Chaos Mortal player would have probably expected - all the Mortal units are present, and no Daemons (excepting the Spawn, which is more of a halfway stage). A very short glance at the entire thing didn't reveal any huge changes to how those types of troops worked. I didn't take a detailed look though. And yes, Mortals and Daemons and Beasts are all seperated now. There is no more mixing aside from the players allowing a person to field more than a single army.

As a non-chaos player I'm glad GW has broken the army into coherent pieces. I had a friend who always dipped into daemons/beasts for no reason other than to find units specifically to counter whatever army I was intending to play. So irritating.

I might be mistaken....maybe Mortals wont' be losing mix-n-match. Beasts of Chaos are definitely losing mix-n-match as per the recently released FAQ PDF.

Pity they lost the mix-n-match with demons and beasts. I feel a bit bad for all the people that have the other units. But such is the way with GW.
