  • Viridian Shock Marine Sergeant preview

Urban Mammoth have posted a preview of a painted sample of their upcoming Viridian Shock Marine Sergeant.

    From their announcement:

Shock Marines are the close combat specialists of the Viridian Armed Forces (VAF), and they have a fearsome reputation. Equipped with powerful Vibro Scythes and high tech Negatron Shields they are extremely effective assault troops.

wow, thats a very static pose. Thats like old school GW static. The mini isn’t bad overall, but the pose is just not well done.

That’s a superb paint job, especially the shield.

    TBH, I don’t mind the pose - maybe I’m suffering from over-dynamic burnout ;-)

I’m hoping these new Shocks are available in the US at some point. A little static yes, but certainly nice enough for general use. Stunning brushwork BTW

Angel Giraldez is the one that paints all of the Infinity display minis. The guy is elvis with a paintbrush.

The mini is ok, but I’m still partial to the Void 1.1 space marine rip-off design.
