I like the direction these sculpts seem to be going.

They look like they might make good adversaries in any sci-fi setting.

I remember him saying they're not a homogenous species, but I didn't realize that they all started out that way....

Marauder;

I think he said they were part of the same genetic strain altered into at least 3 subspecies... so I'm guessing there's going to be quite a bit of variety in the different troops etc...

I will wait with my judgement. It's hard to say something about them - could be better, could be worse... it's something in between. I will wait for final version.

Didn't Jean mention in the "Rackham and You" Q&A that the Cogs were actually made up of more than one race?

These look quite dynamic and very shooty! I am looking forward to more previews.

So what exactly does a cog look like? when I saw the art i got the impression they were small tentacled creatures that had made man like suits for them to be more mobile, kinda like Krang or earthworm Jim... They're certainly interesting! I really want to see where they go with this species...

I was really excited by the looks of the cogs in the q&a piece with Jean Bey; and I've been waiting eagerly to see them sculpted. I'm not really sure what to make of these; they look very fast and dynamic, I got a very different impression from the art... That being said, I have no idea exactly WHAT a cog is, and what really is out of character for one...
