I was really excited by the looks of the cogs in the q&a piece with Jean Bey; and I’ve been waiting eagerly to see them sculpted. I’m not really sure what to make of these; they look very fast and dynamic, I got a very different impression from the art… That being said, I have no idea exactly WHAT a cog is, and what really is out of character for one… |

I like what I see so far. I eagerly await to see how the mechs fully flesh out. |

So what exactly does a cog look like? when I saw the art i got the impression they were small tentacled creatures that had made man like suits for them to be more mobile, kinda like Krang or earthworm Jim… They’re certainly interesting! I really want to see where they go with this species… |

I liked the concept art, but will reserve judgment until I see the final miniatures… |

Didn’t Jean mention in the “Rackham and You” Q&A that the Cogs were actually made up of more than one race? These look quite dynamic and very shooty! I am looking forward to more previews. -Tim |

I will wait with my judgement. It’s hard to say something about them - could be better, could be worse… it’s something in between. I will wait for final version. |

Marauder; I think he said they were part of the same genetic strain altered into at least 3 subspecies… so I’m guessing there’s going to be quite a bit of variety in the different troops etc… |

I remember him saying they’re not a homogenous species, but I didn’t realize that they all started out that way…. |

I have to say, very, very dynamic…you gotta love the John Woo love of two guns..even the one static grunt looks good in its simple pose…might actually have to buy these to play the game finally…and make some cool shooty sound effects…yeah… |

I like the direction these sculpts seem to be going. They look like they might make good adversaries in any sci-fi setting. |
