  • AV:T & Voidstriker miniatures exceed pre-order goal

Ad Astra Games have announced that they have exceeded their pre-order goals for the Attack Vector: Tactical and Voidstriker miniatures.

    From their announcement:

A last-minute surge of pre-orders not only took the second wave of Attack Vector: Tactical miniatures and the first boxed set of Voidstriker miniatures past their revised goal of 130 orders, but broke past the original goal of 150. Yep, they went all the way to 153 pre-orders (counting each boxed set as three orders). The prototypes will start running in the 3-D digital printer by the 19th; when those are done they go off to the caster. That starts the process of mold-making, and then production.

For the moment, pre-orders remain open, but get them in quickly if you want to take advantage of the free shipping offer (reduced shipping for international customers).

    Proclivity says:

to me these minis look awesome…but I was confused when I was checking out the game…are there two different games, the Voidstriker game universe, and the Attack Vector game is separate? As in the two sets of minis can’t be played together, because the two factions, if they are factions, look great…and of course, has anyone tried playing this system…

    Ray Rivers says:

    Indeed, very impressive stuff.

If I wasn’t up to my ears in projects already I’d certainly consider them. The size of the ships (4-5 inches) makes it very interesting to me.

    Perhaps… at a later date.

    Proclivity:

Voidstriker Terren Defense Force is for a different game than the AV:T minis.

Voidstriker is available from Charles Oines through his CafePress shop.

AV:T is available through us at genreconnections.com

Two reviews of AV:T can be had here:

AV:T is the hardest SF space combat game on the market; the first review is from someone who admires it, but doesn’t find it enjoyable to play.
