Sorry, still looks like a Milton Bradley movie tie-in… The kind of thing I’d find on the toy shelves at K-Mart. Doin’ nothin’ for me, I’m afraid, and I’m a big Kaiju fan and gamer!

    LarkinVain (Joel) says:

These are playtest photos so it’s actually going a step back from the photos we’ve seen from Toy Fair.

    Marauder says:

Since they are obviously playing with the unfinished product (note the cardboard cut out bases), I’m sure the real thing will look better.

I think this photo does serve to give people an idea of what the overall game setup will be like. Preprinted map with prepainted buildings - miniatures of all different sizes.

    Jeff Cope says:

    I want it.

Gonna do my best to not go hogwild, just get enough monsters to play…but, yeah, this looks awesome.

    LarkinVain (Joel) says:

Same here. I may get a case or split for one.

    Zomboner says:

Anyone know anything about the gameplay? From the way the map is done in grids, it looks like it might use “spaces” for movement (like in a board game)rather than a tape measure.

    bobby says:

It does indeed use spaces, no tape measure needed. Those buildings aren’t just “terrain” either, they all have their own ’stats’ and are part of the army you bring to the table. Your opponent will bring buildings of his choosing as well.

    P-ko says:

hmm. i’m getting more and more intrested in the game. it’s prepainted AND collectible, which is sort of bad,but it looks really cool, and knowing PP,will have good rules too. the models do look very cartoony, but hey, so does godzilla:D

    Sergeant_Crunch says:

To be honest I’m more interested in the buildings than the rest of the game.

    Zac says:

As am I. If they scale well with 6mm then I am going to be hitting eBay as I suspect many 6mm sci-fi and Battletech gamers will

    Darkson says:

I am looking forward to this game. It looked great at GAMA.
