  • Therian Storm Arachns preview

The latest issue of Rackham’s Cry Havoc Online newsletter contains a preview of the upcoming AT-43 Therian storm arachns model. Rules for these models will be included in the Operation: Frostbite supplement.

Update: I’ve played about with the levels in the photo so that some of the detail in the figure is more apparent.

Love ‘em. These are totally cool.

Oooooh! that looks like fun. it is getting harder and harder not to get into this game!

    Zomboner says:

I like that they’re somewhat generic, so I could see them being used in a variety of games for a variety of things, even just as scenery. I just hope the price is right ;)

    Zac says:

Might even make nice VSF figures

    gavroche says:

Exactly my thought. I don’t play AT-43, but these & some other miniatures are useful for all sorts of retro & gothic sci-fi, including WH40K or VSF.

Woah! An all new design for the therians? I’m there.

    Jeffhiatt says:

Maybe everybody else is looking at something different but all I see is something that looks like an anti-ship mine with legs on it.

    nanite (Seth) says:

    Right, I think that’s cool.

    Zac says:

Making it perfect for VSF ;-)

Looks like the baddie robot from the Incredible’s to me LOL!

There has not one model from this game that I have liked though.

    SW

    Kampfgruppe Cottrell says:

Looks like a magnetic sea mine with legs. I could use a couple for my Weird WWII gaming.

    nanite (Seth) says:

Looks like a size one unit as well?

I hope they’re inexpensive enough to build a large swarm. I’d love to build a therian force that eschews all the more humanoid units.

    Go crazy spider-thing army! Go!
