Litko Aerosystems have announced the addition of new Flight Stand accessories to Jim’s Lab.

    From their announcement:

This week in Jim’s Lab we’re featuring a large selection of flight stand add-ons and accessories. We have some useful little numbered dials, dice trays and elevation markers that you can add to any Litko flight stand. Use them to keep track of altitude, elevation or armament. They are compatible with all the new shapes and sizes of flight stand currently in the Product Lab.

Remember… Litko specializes in customization. Jim’s Product Lab is our product testbed and is where you can find, comment on, and buy prototype products. If you need a particular design tweaked to fit your need, please contact us. Let us know what you are using it for and how we can make it better.

Flight stand dials are being offered in four different varieties… numbered dials (1-6, 1-8, 1-10) and a compass dial. All of these come with pointers and are designed to fit over standard Litko flight pegs.

We’re also offering flight stand dice trays in five styles. Three single dice trays designed for 10mm, 12mm, 16mm and a set designed for two dice, sized 12mm and 16mm.

Flight stand elevation markers are available in two styles: standard and deluxe. The elevation markers are designed to make it easy to record the current altitude of the aircraft during a game. The deluxe designs adds features including the double 12mm dice tray and 1-6 numbered dial. With the deluxe design, you can keep track of four different states on the flight stand itself, meaning less off-mini record keeping.

These would really enhance the visual appeal of an air or spapce game. I particularly like the multi-level cloud indicator for alititude. A couple rare-earth magnets and you’re in business. Impressive job Litko!

Wonder how the size compares to Aeronautica Imperialis

    Zac says:

    AI needs two dials though

    Ken says:

Could you just use two different colored arrows on the same dial?

    Zac says:

    That might work.

    evernevermore (John) says:

So you cant use dice instead of the arrows?

    Zac says:

D10s perhaps. Speed and altitude in AI go over 6
