I suppose in some locations the campaign was played, but not around here. There weren't a whole lot of the releases at the time, and it just felt a bit early for a campaign given that most people were still learning how to play.

I guess I didn't realize that so many players had been holding off on buying the Cry Havocs. That might explain why the end of the campaign was largely ignored.

I'm glad its coming out. I never bothered to pick up the Cry Havocs with the OD articles. I couldn't justify the price since I only wanted a few pages out of each issue. Nice to see it being reprinted, with Errata (nice to have it in an official hardcopy instead of just for those willing to hit the forums), and with Karman stuff too.

There was quite a demand to see this published on the official AT-43 forums, even though the campaign is officially over.

As there isn't really much of a tournament/OP scene for AT-43 I don't see the problem in what is essentially a scenario book, especially when the last couple of issues of Cry Havoc weren't particularly easy to get hold of by most accounts.

I don't really see the appeal of this. "Established" players will essentially be paying for the 6 cards. I guess it represents extra missions for newcomers, but I would think they'd be more interested in playing the Frostbite campaign that will be more current when this comes out.

The resolution of Damocles was really distasteful to me, how it ended so abruptly. I'm giving up AT-43, but I hope that the new system of releasing the next campaign in a box is more satisfying for those who stick with it.
