Rackham have updated their online store to indicate that the Rackham Legends Belial miniature will not be available with both head and weapon configurations. People who pre-ordered before this announcement will get both options shipped with their figure.

Do any of the French speaking readers of TGN know of the French site and announcements had the same error? I’m wondering if this is just a translation problem? |

My guess is that is what not a translation error because they changed the rackham store info and that is used by everyone. |

That wasn’t a translation error, the French CH online newsletter announces the model as coming with the alternate head and weapon. I believe the rackham-store did not mention anything either way, but I couldn’t swear it. |

why assume malice, when there is old-fashioned greed? The comment on R´s store pretty much acknowledges their original deal - 2 heads, 2 weapons. 60 Euros. Obviously that was not “exclusive” enough. As a nice bonus you cant mix-n-match the Weapon/Head-Combo, so assuming you´d like to have head1 with blade2, you would have to buy two goats. |

I think “greed” is exaggerated. I doubt they save that much by giving customers only one head and weapon, and I doubt very many people are going to buy two models just to get head A with weapon B. Also people might still be able to ask for a head or weapon when they order. Asking nicely goes a long way ;), and I don’t see how that would make any difference for Rackham since they will cast them individually. |

@ mathieu: Anyway, just as you are stating, Rackham can´t save very much by including just one variant, and i guess they wanted to sell them individually from the start *** BUT *** the strained relations with their customers being what they are, they would have been better of by graciously changing their release plan and throwing the spare parts into the deal. Would have been much smarter public-relationwise. Not that they care, though. |
