Games of War release new 28mm pirate ships

Games of War have announced the release of the first two of their range of 28mm pirate ships.

    From their website:

We are proud to announce the arrival of our new Pirate Supplies section where you can buy the latest GAMES of WAR creations and get a hint of what is to come.

The models are produced for “Legends of the High Seas” from the Warhammer Historical range. A tabletop miniatures game set in the golden age of piracy where you can take control of brave Royal Navy Captains, brutal Pirates, or the greedy Privateers who sailed the Caribbean Sea.

    SOLD!

EDIT: Initially very excited, still excited. The level of detail on the boats seems light, however, and the price tag is weighty.

Still, I may be interested in picking one of these up.

With some balsa, foamboard and a lot of patience you can always build your own. Wargames Foundry have some great 28mm pirate ship plans.

Maybe you can :-) Not all of us design our own 15mm terrain and 28mm gaming accessories :-)
