And exactly how many cards are you going to fit in a 1″ box?

A surprising number actually. I have all of my Circle faction cards, in protectors, in my Circle dice tin.

I like the box(es) idea, but for the dice themself I prefer stylish Rackham black dice with a red finish and beautifull Red Dragon. I would like to see "standard" Rackham dice in a box like these, with an option to buy more dice without the box, as it is probably the box that makes them quite pricey...

At second look... they're nice overall, think I need to get a set or two for each of my armies ;-)

I'm a little disappointed personally. The colors of the dice are boring. I've seen custom dice from Chessex which other players have ordered, which looked really sweet. And exactly how many cards are you going to fit in a 1" box?
But I'm a sucker and will buy anyway...

You know I think dice, and having loads of different sorts, make a big part of the attraction of tabletop gaming. Part of the fun of D&D rpging is throwing wacky-shaped dice combos.

And these dice (along with other tins for others games) appeal to me even though I don't play the games.

It hits all the psychological spots (ahem) - touch, sound and feel (come on we all 'will' the dice to get a result or have a lucky die that we use for special rolls!)

Hello, my name is Seth, and I'm a diceaholic.

It takes all my willpower not to buy every pretty Chessex puts out, and junk like this is right up my alley, even though I seldom ever get to play.

I bet the delay was because they had to find a supplier for the wheels you'd need to put on any tin big enough to store the number of dice the Karmans need.
