  • AT-43 dice tins available

Gale Force 9 have announced the availability of AT-43 dice tins.

    From their website:

Gale Force Nine is proud to release Dice and Collectable tins for Rackham’s AT-43 miniatures game. Each dice set contains ten (10) quality dice cast in themed colors with the faction logo in place of the six. The dice are packed in a stylish tin emblazoned with faction artwork. Besides the dice, the tin has room to store your AT-43 faction T.A.C. template and your AT-43 reference cards. Each full color metal dice tin measures approx. 5 3/8″ x 3 3/4″ x 1″ deep.

These beautiful dice tins are available in games stores world wide and directly from the GF9 Online Store.

These were previewed at GenCon last year, it’s sure taken a while for them to become available.

    Zac says:

Quite some time indeed. Wonder what the problem was?

    Jon F says:

I bet the delay was because they had to find a supplier for the wheels you’d need to put on any tin big enough to store the number of dice the Karmans need.

    Robert says:

heh heh heh. Not to mention the depletion of the world’s tin mines for the case.

    (Bloody Karmans!)

Hello, my name is Seth, and I’m a diceaholic.

It takes all my willpower not to buy every pretty Chessex puts out, and junk like this is right up my alley, even though I seldom ever get to play.

    Osbad says:

I am totally ashamed by how much I want these!

    Carl says:

You know I think dice, and having loads of different sorts, make a big part of the attraction of tabletop gaming. Part of the fun of D&D rpging is throwing wacky-shaped dice combos.

And these dice (along with other tins for others games) appeal to me even though I don’t play the games.

It hits all the psychological spots (ahem) - touch, sound and feel (come on we all ‘will’ the dice to get a result or have a lucky die that we use for special rolls!)

    :-)

I’m a little disappointed personally. The colors of the dice are boring. I’ve seen custom dice from Chessex which other players have ordered, which looked really sweet. And exactly how many cards are you going to fit in a 1″ box?
But I’m a sucker and will buy anyway…

    YoungOlo says:

I like the box(es) idea, but for the dice themself I prefer stylish Rackham black dice with a red finish and beautifull Red Dragon. I would like to see “standard” Rackham dice in a box like these, with an option to buy more dice without the box, as it is probably the box that makes them quite pricey…

At second look… they’re nice overall, think I need to get a set or two for each of my armies ;-)

A surprising number actually. I have all of my Circle faction cards, in protectors, in my Circle dice tin.

    Osbad says:

So, still no news from any UK distributors :(

ANyone know how long it takes GF9 stuff to hit the shelves over here?
