Painted Viridian Shock Marine previews
Urban Mammoth have posted previews of painted samples of their Viridian Shock Marine miniatures.
From their announcement:
New images have just been added to our homepage of two of the forthcoming new Viridian Shock Marine sculpts, painted by Angel Giraldez.
Shock Marines are the close combat specialists of the Viridian Armed Forces (VAF), and they have a fearsome reputation. Equipped with powerful Vibro Scythes and high tech Negatron Shields they are extremely effective assault troops. Shock Marines are present in most major engagements and they’re never allowed to rest for long, being constantly shuffled to where the fighting is thickest.
I’m getting better, but I’m nowhere near that good of a painter. Not even the same league. Of course, I don’t want to spend as much time as the pros do. These look very nice.

I like ‘em too. I especially like how the shield looks thick enough to stop a bullet, although unless those guys are being fired from above and to the left that doesn’t seem like the most useful place to carry them…
Angel is skilled beyond words - he posts at the UW forums also. I do like the older shock marines too but these are just awesome.
