I only have experience with Forgeworld resin, but I think it's definitely too brittle for gaming unless the figure is very stocky with no extraneous bits. I've got the Forgeworld dragon and it loses a spine or two every time I take it with me anywhere. I was hoping to make it an OTT gaming piece, but now it just sits in the glass cabinet (as I'm sure was intended). I also have a whole pile of Epic scale Eldar vehicles and weapons break off them often as well.

As Zac mentions, Fire Industries resin may have different properties. I'd be interested to hear from anyone that has experience playing with the Therians.

Depends on the type of resin used as well. The resin FW uses is notable for being brittle but some resin casters use a more dense resin that is very sturdy.

Axehead: Resin figures aren't too fragile for game-play in my experience. You will probably need to make sure that you transport them more carefully, such as in foam trays. Breakage when it occurs is almost always during transport. The same is true with pewter minis. Resin minis which break are much easier to repair than metal ones: a little super glue is all that is needed.

I know it's a bit off topic but I really like their Temple Ruins in the scenery section.

Sort of back on-topic would that Fire Wasp be an okay size for 28mm minis (GW IG minis for instance)?

I'm thinking for use in skirmish games using other games systems.

That single overseer is fairly reasonably priced too.

I just wish it looked less like the existing ones.

Does anybody have any experience with how durable 28mm resin minis are in gameplay? The Therians are nice but they are pretty skinny and fragile looking...

Single overseers could be pretty useful, I've got plenty of Sonic Guns so I don't want any more attachment boxes.
