Taurian Howitzer Team preview
Urban Mammoth have posted a preview photo of a painted sample of the Gladiator Taurian Howitzer Team.
From their announcement:
New images have just been added to our homepage of the forthcoming Gladiator Taurian Howitzer Team, painted by Angel Giraldez.
Heavy and unwieldy as they are these weapons are manned only by the strongest Gladiators. They’re often crewed by Secutors reassigned from other duties, or by the men who operated the heavy equipment and gimmick weaponry used in the arenas. For this reason field howitzer crews are nicknamed Taurians for their bull-like strength.
Fabulous paint work by Angel once again, I especially like the freehand tattoos and the five o’clock shadows.
Great figs. Always confused by the appearance of howitzers in tabletop games. At least this isn’t as bad as a Basilisk :-)
Nice paint job and nice figs. Good detail on the gun assembly.
It is unfortunate that this game is not yet picking up well in NA. I hope eventually that it will be successful.
